Trailer Uses and Suggestions

To help you decide which trailer to use, we have suggested trailer types to move/collect general items and vehicles.

General Items

I need to move/collect one of the following items which type of trailer do you suggest?

For Asbestos, JB Trailer Hire would suggest either the 8x4 General Duty Trailer as it has a drop down trail bar for you to be able to carry your load onto or the 8x5 Flatbed Trailer as it is wider and has the fold down sides for same height loading. Both trailers performed well for our customer.
For Furniture, JB Trailer Hire would suggest our 8x4 General Duty Trailer either with or without the water roof canopy as loading is made easy with the drop down tail bar and the caged sides provide higher sides for taller items.
For Garden Waste including tree cuttings, hedge cuttings, branches, twigs or brambles, JB Trailer Hire would suggest the 8x4 General Duty Trailer as this has caged sides so holds more and has a drop down trail bar for you to be able to wheelbarrow on your load.
For Gravel, Chippings, Shingle, Shillet, Sand, Rubble, JB Trailer Hire would suggest either the 8x4 General Duty Trailer as it has a drop down trail bar for you to be able to wheelbarrow on your load or the 8x5 Flatbed Trailer if you have a large amount of Gravel to collect/move that is has been sold in dumpy bags as this trailer can take 2 dumpy bags side by side and has drop down sides for easy access for forklifts.
For Luggage, JB Trailer Hire would suggest our 8x4 General Duty Trailer be used like a local school group has used with the water proof canopy for Duke of Edinburgh away weeks to help with rucksacks and camping equipment.
For Plumbing Supplies, JB Trailer Hire would suggest either the 8x4 General Duty Trailer as it has a drop down trail bar for you to be able to carry your load onto or the 8x5 Flatbed Trailer if you have heavier items like baths to collect/move as this trailer can take up to 3 tonne.
For general recycling, JB Trailer Hire would suggest either the 8x4 General Duty Trailer as it has a drop down trail bar for you to be able to walk on your load and higher caged sides given you more space or the 8x5 Flatbed Trailer if you have a larger, heavier items to take to the recycling centre.
For Settees, JB Trailer Hire would suggest our 8x4 General Duty Trailer either with or without the water roof canopy as loading is made easy with the drop down tail bar and the caged sides provide higher sides for taller items. We have had a three seater and two seater settee in the trailer at once. Perfect for eBay purchases.
For Sheds, JB Trailer Hire would suggest either the 8x4 General Duty Trailer (for smaller storage box sized sheds) as it has a drop down trail bar for you to be able to walk your load on or the 8x5 Flatbed Trailer if it is a larger shed, or has been dismantled. The flat bed trailer has removable sides so would be able to accommodate a shed larger than the 8x5 of the trailer base.

For Cattle (sheep, pigs, miniature ponies, goats or indeed dogs/puppies JB Trailer Hire would suggest our 8x4 General Duty Trailer without the water roof canopy as loading is made easy with the drop down tail bar (ramp) and the caged sides which provide high sides with plenty of air circulation. This particular trailer has already had pigs and sheep in it.
For small removals, JB Trailer Hire would suggest either the 8x4 General Duty Trailer with the water proof canopy.
